2 villages to be shifted from Kawwal Tiger Zone

Forest Divisional Officer Ravinder Rathod said that the people of Maisampet and Rampur villages in the dense forest area of Kaddam mandal of Khanapur assembly constituency would be relocated as the villages fall under the Kawwal Tiger zone.Â

He offered a package of Rs 10 lakh to each family and alternatively Rs 5 lakh and five acres besides construction of houses for the displaced. Rathod said that the relocation would commence shortly.
