Khammam: Launching salvos at Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, CPI leader Puvvada Nageshwar Rao stated that a militant-type movement would be organised in the state in coming up days to fight the anti-people policies adopted by the both state and central governments.

Speaking at a meeting held with the party leaders and activists at Giri Prasad Bhavan in Khammam on Thursday, Puvvada alleged that all sections of people were facing problems under the BJP rule, which was encouraging communalism in the country. “People are all eyes to the atrocities of the BJP government under the veil of governance,” he said.

Stating that KCR had given licence to corruption, Puvvada alleged that illegal activities were flourishing under TRS rule. “Corruption is seen in every work and project, be it Mission Bhagiratha, Mission Kakatiya, road widening works,” he alleged.

Accusing the government of cheating farmers by not fulfilling its poll promise of waiving farm loans, CPI leader warned of launching protests against the rule of BJP and TRS governments.

Party district secretary Bagam Hemanth Rao, Mohammad Salaam, Mekala Srinivasa Rao, Yanali Sambhasiva Rao, Nune Shashidhar, Chamakalu Venkanna, Pagadala Mallesh and Pitla Krishnamurthy and others attended the meeting.
