​Sultanabad: The sleuths of police department formally launched the third phase of Haritha Haram by planting saplings on either side of the SRSP canal here on Thursday.
SI Bollipelly Raju explained the benefits of planting saplings. He appealed the people to participate in the massive plantation drive and also asked them to protect the saplings.
In all, they planted 500 saplings. Special officers, head constable Veera Swamy, leaders of youth organisations, activists, women and police staff took part in the programme.
