Improve educational standards, Jagtial Collector calls upon teachers
Teachers and students should focus on improving the educational standards and also take classes daily, offline and online, said District Collector Dr. A Sharath here in the town on Friday. He inspected the Zilla Parishad High School at Ibrahimnagar village of Gollapally mandal in the district and examined the functioning of digital classes.

Speaking on the occasion, District Collector Dr. A Sharath said that last year, the district was placed on top securing 83 percent in the SSC results across the State and instructed the teachers to strive hard to increase the pass percentage of SSC students compared to last year.
Last year, 112 schools achieved 100 percent results in SSC examinations and the Zilla Parishad High School of Ibrahimnagar stood in the last position in the district. The staff and the students must work hard to achieve 100 percent results in SSC examinations this year, suggested the District Collector Dr. A Sharath.
If the results are not good stringent actions would be taken on the concern staff and managements of the school, warned the Collector.
Later, the District Collector inspected the kitchen sheds and the food items which were cooked and served for the students as part of ‘Mid Day meals scheme’ and pulled up the workers for not maintaining the surroundings clean and tidy.
The Collector also examined the saplings that were planted in the school under Haritha Haaram programme and suggested to the management to take care of the saplings by protecting them with tree guards.
The Gollapally MPDO Narasaiah, Tahasildar Suma Chowdari, Mandal Education Offier Jamuna, Head Master of the School J Ganga Narasaiah, MPTC Rangareddy and Bhumaiah were present along with others.
