​Suryapet: Former minister and Congress senior leader Ramreddy Damoder Reddy stated that the TRS government had completely ignored the welfare of dalit community in the State.

Speaking to the media here on Monday, he said that they will organise Dalit Garjana soon in Suryapet. He demanded that the government must reveal the facts and figures with regard to the three acres agriculture land to poor SCs and double bedroom houses scheme.

People of all sections in the district were disappointed with the government which failed to establish even a single industry in the district during the last three years, he stated.

Stating that the government had failed to provide reservation to minorities, SC and STs, he said that the Congress would organise protest demonstrations on behalf of the neglected sections.

He demanded release of white paper on the government flagship programme of Haritha Haram and advised the government to plant saplings on either sides of roads in the district and protect them with responsibility.

Alleging the government of showing discrimination in sanctioning sheep units to Yadava community, he suggested the government to take care of all caste-based professions in villages.

He refuted the false allegations of Harish Rao during his recent Miryalaguda tour and questioned the sanctity of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao with regard to providing berths to anti-Telangana leaders in the State cabinet.

Congress leader Byru Venkanna Goud and local leaders were present in the press meet.
