Singareni doctors perform rare surgery
A rare surgery, known as ‘tube thoracostomy’ was performed at Singareni Main Hospital. Doctors Rammohan, Jyothirmai, SK Yedukondalu and Krishnamurthy performed this surgery to Prudhvi, a 19-year-old boy.

The patient was admitted in the hospital following a road accident on July 4. The doctors found broken rib in the diagnosis and prescribed CT scan, in which they found that the spleen was damaged and there was internal bleeding. The doctors conducted an emergency exhortation laporating tests and collected blood for it.
They controlled the bleeding by removing the spleen. Prudhvi’s health condition is now stable and was discharged on Monday. His parents thanked the doctors and Singareni management. Doctors thanked CMO Prasanna Simha for allowing them to perform the rare surgery.
