Telangana BJP leaders congratulated M Venkaiah Naidu

​Warangal: The BJP Telangana unit wholeheartedly congratulated M Venkaiah Naidu for getting announced as the NDA's vice-president candidate, said the party state official spokesperson Anugula Rakesh Reddy.

He said Venkaiah Naidu’s journey from Udayagiri as a student worker to legislative member of AP from Udayagiri to BJP national president and finally to be vice president nominee is very inspiring for BJP workers.

‘He has always been the man of BJP and yet a statesman with nationalistic thinking. He is the most suitable candidate considering his vast experience in parliament and his relations cutting across political parties’, Rajesh Reddy said here on Monday.

Speaking to The Hans India he said Naidu with his amazing oratory and spontaneity has become a trouble shooter and resolved many key issues. His contribution to both Telugu states as the union minister is commendable and it is a proud moment to see him chairing the Rajya Sabha.

Venkaiah Naidu’s association with Telangana is so binding that even the TRS government in the state recognises his contribution to state. He played key role in sanctioning Smart City, AMRUT, Heritage City schemes to Warangal and launched HRUDAY works in the city.

He also engaged in social activities such as schools for poor, orphaned and special-needs children and self-employment training programmes through Swarna Bharathi Trust have left an unforgettable impression on the poor, Rajesh Reddy pointed out.
