Take steps to control seasonal diseases: Mahabubabad Collector
District Collector Dr. Preethi Meena directed the officials of concerned departments to take all necessary steps for preventing the spread of seasonal diseases among students studying in Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalayas (KGBV).

Presiding over a review meeting with officials of Social Welfare and Education Departments along with the hostel wardens here at the Collectorate here on Tuesday, Dr. Meena instructed the officials to take necessary steps in preventing the spread of seasonal diseases among the students studying in various government welfare hostels.
Keeping in view the monsoon season, the officials should ensure that the surroundings were kept clean and tidy, she added.
The Collector told the officials to install Reverse Osmosis Plants (RO Plants) in the 15 Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya (KGBV) hostels in the district and asked the wardens to use only purified water for drinking and cooking purposes.
