Warangal : The representatives of the Democratic Student Union (DSU) demanded the State government to construct a school at Shantinagar of Chityal mandal in the district on Wednesday. As part of village campaign, the representatives of the DSU visited every village of Chityala mandal here in Warangal Rural District.

After interacting with the villagers of Shantinagar, the DSU State leader Janardhan said that for more than 29 years, the people in Shantinagar village were living without proper facilities facing all odds There are more than 70 members of school going children in Shantinagar village but the government did not establish a school in the other villages which is very near to Shantinagar.

As a result, the future of many students has become a big question mark with no proper schooling to them, he lamented. The villagers allotted a place for establishment of school for their children but the government officials and peoples’ representatives of ruling party were not in a mood to establish a school for the children of Shantinagar village, he alleged.
