Sultanabad: The Virasam executive member P Varavara Rao has alleged that the lives of the people not yet changed even after creation of separate Telangana State.

Varavara Rao attended the last rites of Maoist Central Committee executive member Sande Rajamouli alias Prasad, who was killed in an encounter at Darmaram Railway Station in 2007.

The police filed case against Varavara Rao alleging that the latter made provocative remarks saying that Prasad’s encounter was a fake one.

After attending the Sultanabad Munsif Court in regard to 2007 case today after receiving summons, Varavara Rao alleged that the Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, who assumed office stating that he would implement Maoists agenda, was now adopting suppressive attitude towards people. KCR did nothing to the people except making fake assurances, he said.

Alleging that TRS government was looking like a synonym to then TDP government, Varavara Rao said that most of the Ministers in KCR Cabinet were TDP leaders.

“Where is Telangana self-respect?”, he asked and alleged that KCR, who came to power with the slogan of ‘our water, our funds and our jobs’, was allocating the water, funds and jobs to the people of Andhra Pradesh.

KCR transformed his family as golden family in the name of golden Telangana but he did nothing to the people, he claimed. Local lawyers and people accompanied Varavara Rao.
