Participating in several developmental activities, he said that the government was determined to turn agricultural activities into a great festival and make the farmer king in the State.

The Minister participated in various developmental activities in Narmala and Gambiraopet villages of Gambhiraopet mandal in the district. He laid foundation stone for the Fidar Channel developmental works for filling up around seven lakes present in various villages of Gambhiraopet to supply water for about 1,068 acres of land at a cost of Rs.1.56 crores under the third phase of Mission Kakatiya. He also laid a foundation stone for construction of a 33/11 K V Sub-station.

Later the Minister for Municipal Administration laid the foundation stone for construction works of a mini-tank bund at Namaz lake at the Ganbhiraopet mandal headquarters along with restoring it at a cost of Rs 4.95 crore. He also laid a foundation stone for restoration works of the Singasamudram Fidar channel taken up at a cost of Rs.1.24 crore.

The government had taken up number of projects to supply water for irrigation purpose to nearly one crore acres of land and to supply uninterrupted quality power for 24 hours to the farmers along with distributing fertilizers and seeds free, informed the Minister.

The Minister assured the farmers that in coming days, the farmers would live like a king in the State due to the decisions taken up by the government.

KTR also participated in the third phase of Haritha Haram programme and planted saplings on the bunds of Namaz lake and the Narmala Dam. Interacting with the people, the Minister urged them to participate actively in the plantation drive place the Sircilla Rajanna district on top position in the implementation of Haritha Haram project.

Later, KTR inspected the construction works of Sri Gadha Bridge on Manair River that connects three districts thereby reducing the travel time between three districts and directed the officials to speed the construction works and complete them as early as possible.
