Says Health Minister Laxma Reddy; inaugurates Mother and Child Health Care centre

​Karimnagar: The TRS government headed by Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao was striving for the welfare of the people by introducing various welfare schemes and developmental activities, said Health Minister Dr C Laxma Reddy here on Thursday.

Inaugurating the Mother and Child Health Care Centre along with Finance Minister Eatala Rajender in the town, he said that the highly modernised Health Centre was established for providing better health and medical services to those who were coming from the surrounding and far off areas of
the district.

By allotting a dress code to all the employees who were discharging duties at Mother and Child Health Care Centre, necessary steps would be taken for maintaining the surroundings clean and tidy, assured the Minister.

He also said that the government was taking several steps by allotting about 20 ICUs, dialysis centers, Citi scan and MRIs to various government hospitals in Telangana, thereby upgrading the medical facilities.

The Health Minister said that KCR kits were distributed to protect the health of newly born infants and not for gaining political mileage. All the posts which were lying vacant in the medical department would be filled up as early as possible by issuing a notification along with establishing a medical and a super-specialty hospital in Karimnagar district, informed the Minister.

Finance Minister Eatala Rajendar said that the Mother and Child Health Care Center was established with ultra-modern medical equipment which would be highly useful for the people living in North Telangana and for those who were living in the surrounding areas of Karimnagar District.

He said that the construction works of 100-bed hospital at Huzurabad and the 30-bed hospital at Kamalapur have been completed and they would be inaugurated very soon. All necessary basic facilities would be provided in the nursing school present in Karimnagar, assured the Finance Minister.
