Nirmal (Kaddam): Farmers and people of Pandavpur village are very much worried over the dangling high tension (HT) lines passing through the agricultural fields. They are also afraid of the transformer in the premises of the Government School at the village.

The school staff say the transformer is at reachable height to the students who go towards it to attend nature calls as there are no toilets in the school.

Rajamouli, a farmer, say that he had stopped cultivating a part of his land which is under the high-tension wires. He expressed his fear saying that the wires may be snapped at any time.

The farmers say, several times, the issue has been taken to the notice of the officials concerned. But no action was taken to solve the issue. They express their anguish over negligent attitude of the officials.
