18 people held for snooker betting

Acting on credible information that snooker was being played in a house near Natraj Theatre under One Town police station limits, the police raided the house and arrested the accused.
Police Commissioner Karthikeya called upon the people to dial 100 or to call special branch control room number 94906-18000 and inform if they come across any anti-social activities taking place in their area. He assured that the informers’ names wouldn’t be revealed.
