Snake catcher dies of Russels viper bite in Karimnagar

​Mandamarri: In a shocking incident, Singareni employee and snake catcher A Srinivas died on Thursday while undergoing treatment at a hospital in Karimnagar.

The Singareni Management has specially appointed Srinivas to catch snakes in that area as he was adept in catching snakes.

Popularly known as Pamula Srinivas, was accidentally bitten by Russels’ Viper two days ago when he was trying to catch it. He was rushed to Singareni Area Hospital and later shifted to Karimnagar Government Hospital for better treatment.

Locals blamed Singareni Area Hospital management for not providing treatment in time. He would have been alive if he was given treatment with in time, said one of his friends.
