he forest officials were told to take measures to develop Tummanela forest area as the best tourist spot, since the area is good for enjoying picnics and get-togethers, under the title ‘Narasimha Vanam’.

District Collector Dr A Sharath along with Forest Protection Officer of Warangal Circle Mohammad Jalaluddin Akbar planted saplings at Tummanela forest area as part of third phase of Haritha Haram programme on Friday.
After inspecting the forest area, the Collector suggested the officials to establish a canteen and children’s park so that people can enjoy the lush greenery from morning to evening. He observed that there is chance for the pilgrims, who visit Dharmapuri temple, to visit the forest area if provided with all amenities.
Jagtial Rural Development Officer Dr G Narendar, District and Rural Development Officer Aruna Sri, District Forest Officer Ramesh, Forest Range Officer Srinivas, Mandal Parishad Development Officer Shashikala and Dharmapuri Temple Committee Chairman Srikanth Reddy were present along with others.
