For the first time ever, an Indian dance crew has been invited to the ‘World Of Dance’
Dancer and actor Shantanu Maheshwari who'd been living in Spain for the upcoming season of adventure reality show ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi’ is back in the bay and all set to fly with his dance crew to the Hollywood. ‘World Of Dance’ champions from the year 2015, Desi Hoppers of which the D3 youth sensation; Shantanu Maheshwari has been a part of have been invited to Los Angeles to showcase their dance at this year's edition of the WOD.
Shantanu and team emerged as the winners of the distinguished dance competition back in 2015 becoming the first Indian dance crew to bring the trophy home and had a short series on television dedicated to them on their journey. Desi Hoppers will now be touring LA and also be a part of WOD albeit as guests this time around.
An exhilarated Shantanu shares, “First time around we were nervous as we had to battle it out. We're excited and thrilled to have been invited to showcase some of our dances there. Making India proud back then was a surreal feeling. It has sunk in now and we only want to do better and showcase our dance across global platforms. This is an opportunity and also an added responsibility.”
