Warangal: Telangana Non-Gazetted Officers’ Union leaders have expressed deep shock at the demise of All India State Government Employees Federation (AISGEF) Chairman R Muthu Sundaram.

Muthu Sundaram passed away in Chennai on Sunday. A condolence meeting was organised in Hanamkonda on the day by the TNGOs Union. TNGOS Central Union president K Ravinder Reddy, TEJAC chairman Paritala Subba Rao described Muthu Sundaram as a legendary leader.

The union Warangal district unit president K Rajesh Kumar, secretary K Ratnaveerachary, Pulluru Venu Gopal and Telangana Gazetted Officers Union leader A Jaganmohan Rao recalled the efforts made by Sundaram for the cancellation of contributory pension scheme and paid homage to him.

His last visit to Warangal was to attend national women conference in the month of January 2016. ‘He lived a simple life and was a great humanitarian. His request to donate his body after the death to a Chennai Medical College proves his concern for the fellow beings’ the leaders noted.
