AP State  Challenger Chess Championship  competitions started in the Bhashyam main campus at Chandramaulinagar in Guntur city today. 

AP State Challenger Chess Championship competitions started in the Bhashyam main campus at Chandramaulinagar in Guntur city today.

Genius Chess Academy is conducting the competitions with the co-operation of Bhashyam Educational Institutions. The competitions will be held till August 2.

BSNL retired administrative officer Venkata Chary ,international master Krishna Teja inaugurated the chess championship competitions.

Speaking on this occasion, AP State Chess Association general secretary, Sri Hari said that, chess competitions will bring out innate talent in the students and added that the winners will be eligible to participate in the national level chess championship competitions to be held in Ahamadamabad very soon.

AP Chess Association treasurer and Genius Chess Academy director Ch Ravindra Raju said they are providing meals and accommodation to the players with the co-operation of Bhashyam Educational Institutions.

He said, AP Chess Association and Guntur Chess Association are jointly conducting the chess championship competitions.

Prizes will be given to winners on the final day. Bhashyam Guntur urban ZEO Siva, Srinivasa Rao were among those participated.
