Mithali Raj joins Haritha Haram
The Indian women’s cricket captain, Mithali Raj flagged off Sports Authority of Telangana State’s (SATS) third phase of ‘Haritha Haram’ initiative at LB Nagar on Monday.
The Indian women’s cricket captain, Mithali Raj flagged off Sports Authority of Telangana State’s (SATS) third phase of ‘Haritha Haram’ initiative at LB Nagar on Monday.
As part of the initiative, a rally was conducted from the stadium to Ridge Hostel in Adarsh Nagar in which about 500 children of SATS along with staff of Tourism department participated. In addition, about 200 SATS members also planted saplings to reach the goal of one lakh plants.
The initiative was jointly conducted at Gachibowli Sports Complex, Saroornagar Indoor Stadium, KVBR Indoor Stadium, Yousufguda and Cycling Velodrome, Osmania University and at Telangana State Sports School.
