KCR orchestrating Meira critics: Sampath
Alleging that the TRS Dalit leaders were criticising former Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar following the directions of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, Alampur MLA SA Sampath Kumar condemned the statements of Deputy Chief Minister Kadiyam Srihari, Animal Husbandry Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav and MP Balka Suman against Meira Kumar.
​Mahbubnagar: Alleging that the TRS Dalit leaders were criticising former Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar following the directions of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, Alampur MLA SA Sampath Kumar condemned the statements of Deputy Chief Minister Kadiyam Srihari, Animal Husbandry Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav and MP Balka Suman against Meira Kumar.
Speaking to media persons here on Tuesday, Sampath alleged that the TRS Dalit leaders were betraying the Dalit community by making derogatory comments against Meira Kumar. He said the TRS Dalit Leaders, who were not in a position to protect the rights of Dalits, have no right to criticise Meira Kumar.
“It is not proper on the part of TRS leaders to indulge in low-level politics on Dalit leader Meira Kumar, who consoled Dalits in Nerella village,” he added.
Asking IT Minister KT Rama Rao as to why he failed to react on Nerella incident till date, Sampath challenged Balka Suman and Karne Prabhakar to visit Nerella if they are brave.
Stating that he was ready for debate on the issue at any place including Telangana Bhavan or Pragathi Bhavan, Sampath asked them to come for debate if they had any self-respect.
