SCCL registers 14.88 % growth in coal output
The Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) has produced 44 lakh tonnes of coal during July, as against 38.3 lakh tonnes produced last year, registering a growth of 14.88 per cent.
​Kothagudem: The Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) has produced 44 lakh tonnes of coal during July, as against 38.3 lakh tonnes produced last year, registering a growth of 14.88 per cent.
According to an official release on Tuesday, the SCCL transported 48.5 lakh tonnes in July as against 39.8 lakh tonnes in July last year, registering 21.86 per cent growth.
Similarly, the company removed 279.3 lakh cubic meters of overburden during this July as against the 169.9 lakh cubic meters, registering a growth of 31,07 per cent.
Chairman-cum-Managing Director of the SCCL N Sridhar appreciated the workers, officers and other staff members for achieving the impressive growth.
He exhorted the personnel to strive to reach the target for coal production and transportation fixed for the current year, 660 lakh tonnes.
