Jangaon: Transport Minister Patnam Mahender Reddy planted saplings in the premises of the road transportation office and RTC bus depot here on Tuesday.
Speaking on the occasion, he lauded the Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao for introducing Haritha Haram programme. He called upon the people to plant saplings and to protect them.
Whip in Legislative Council Venkateswarlu, MLA Muthireddy Yadigiri Reddy, District Collector Sri Devasena were among those present.
