Hyderabad: ASK India Society, a voluntary organisation has been conducting National level Handwriting Competition since 2010 and the National Controller of this competition, V Stephen says that the objective of this contest has been to create awareness about the importance of handwriting, an aspect that is often overlooked by curriculum designers, academicians, parents and students.

It has been proven by the researchers that handwriting reflects the personality traits of individuals and though driven by technology, the importance of handwriting for professional growth cannot be overlooked.

Over 200 schools and 3 lakh students across India have been participating in this competition every year, where the students are awarded prizes at school level, district level, state level and national levels.

The 8th National Handwriting Competition is open to all Indian school children from class I to class XII. The competition is open till 30 November 2017 and interested students can check for the further details at www.handwritingcompetition.com
