SCCL GMs told to meet coal supply targets
Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) chairman-cum-managing director N Sridhar on Thursday addressing a meeting at Singareni Bhavan at Hyderabad, asked the general managers of 11 mining areas to take special measures to reach targets fixed for production and transport of  coal to achieve the annual target of 660 lakh tonnes of coal production and transportation, according to a press release
​Kothagudem: Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) chairman-cum-managing director N Sridhar on Thursday addressing a meeting at Singareni Bhavan at Hyderabad, asked the general managers of 11 mining areas to take special measures to reach targets fixed for production and transport of coal to achieve the annual target of 660 lakh tonnes of coal production and transportation, according to a press release here.
He discussed the problems at each coal mine with the relevant area general manager and took decisions.
He said the company has orders from thermal power units of other states as well to supply coal and asked the general managers to make attempts for full scale supply honouring the contracts. He expressed happiness over the SCCL successfully planting 40 lakh saplings out of the targeted 1crore.
