Bhadrachalam Area Hospital conducts record 455 deliveries in July
The doctors at the Government Area Hospital here have conducted a total of 455 deliveries, including 221 C-section deliveries, in July as against 300 conducted during the corresponding month last year. Â The target for the month is 91 deliveries. In 2015, the hospital conducted 248 deliveries during the corresponding month.Â

The hospital accounts for conducting the highest number of deliveries—439—in October last year, setting a record of sorts. It surpassed its own record by conducting 455 deliveries in July.
Speaking to The Hans India, hospital superintendent Dr MV Koti Reddy said the hospital conducted a total of 4,331 deliveries last year and ranked number one in the state. He hoped to retain the first rank this year as well. He thanked the hospital’s medical and other staff for enabling it to get the top honours.
