The people in Telangana have been looking at BJP as a political alternate to the ruling TRS, noted the party zonal in-charge and former MLA Baddam Bal Reddy.
Hanamkonda: The people in Telangana have been looking at BJP as a political alternate to the ruling TRS, noted the party zonal in-charge and former MLA Baddam Bal Reddy.
It is the public desire that the BJP would come to power in 2019 elections in the State. It is a great opportunity for the party and every worker should work towards that target and fulfill the people’s desire, he advised.
Bal Reddy addressed a gathering of the party leaders and senior cadre at the district executive meeting of Warangal urban district BJP unit in Hanamkonda on Thursday. He wanted the party cadre reach out to the public at grassroots level and fight for their issues.
Protests on public issues should be staged from booth-level to district-level. ‘BJP was once had a good hold in Warangal district politics. Every activist of the party should strive to revive the past glory of the party in the district,’ he suggested.
The party high command has been making serious and well-planned efforts to strengthen in the party base in the State.
That is why in-charges at division, mandal, district and zonal level are appointed. Gaining power in the State should be the ultimate objective of the party workers, Bal Reddy asserted.
In the days to come, national leaders like Amit Shah would frequent all the districts in the State to monitor the party affairs towards reaching the goal of winning power, he said.
Party Dalit Morcha state president Vemula Ashok, district in-charge Meesala Chandraiah, state vice-president M Dharma Rao, state official spokesperson A Rakesh Reddy and state executive member Prof K Venkata Narayana also addressed the party activists.
The executive meeting chaired by the party district president Rao Padma and attended by ex-MLA M Satyanarayana, national council member Raja Veeru, senior leaders Rao Amarender Reddy, G Yadagiri, V Sammi Reddy, N Venugopal Reddy and others.
