Speaking on the occasion, he said everyone should participate in the plantation drive so that the future generations get benefitted. He appealed to the political parties, NGOs and the government staff to come forward to make Telanganaku Haritha Haram a grand success.Bhadrachalam RDO Siva Narayana Reddy, Sarpanch Bhukya Swetha and the TRS leaders participated in the programme.

Meanwhile, Agriculture Officer Tata Rao along with ITDA unit officers and SBI staff planted saplings on the premises of Indira Kranthi Pathakam office on Friday. Stating that trees provide clean air, Tata Rao appealed to the staff to protect saplings by watering them regularly.

Horticulture officers T Nagaiah and Chittibabu, Bank Manager Rajaram Kishore, EDC Coordinator Bharath Kumar, APM Venkaiah, Malla Reddy and staff of ITDA and State Bank of India took part in the programme.
