School dropouts made to rejoin school

Asifabad: Following the call given by the Superintendent of Police Sunpreet Singh, an awareness programme for school drop-outs was organised at Tiriyani Residential School here on Friday.

Speaking on the occasion, District Joint-Collector Ashok Kumar, the chief guest at the programme, lauded the police department for organising the programme and asked the police and education department officials to work together to ensure there are no dropouts in any school.

Tiriyani Sub-Inspector B Srinivas handed over stationary to the students. RDO Suresh, Tahsildar Amruth Sagar, MEO Shankar, School Principal Narasimhulu, police department staff M Kiran, Raj Kumar, Chandu and school teachers were among those present.
