Aadhaar updation center inaugurated in Mancherial
Regional Post Master General Col. M Elisha, along with District Collector RV Karnan inaugurated Aadhaar updation center at Head Post office here on Monday.
Mancherial: Regional Post Master General Col. M Elisha, along with District Collector RV Karnan inaugurated Aadhaar updation center at Head Post office here on Monday.
Speaking on the occasion, the Collector said that it is a good opportunity for the district people as services came close to their doorstep and advised the people to avail the facility.
He urged the officials concerned to set up two more Aadhaar updation centers in Bellampally and Chennur sub-post offices.
Elisha said they will set up Aadhaar updation centers across all post offices, apart from it, 36 head post offices will be linked with it.
Post Offices will be entrusted with the responsibility of Aadhaar enrollment and correction of new Aadhaar cards, said the Post Master General. It’s learnt that, keeping in view of large number of Singareni workers and pensioners, the officials have set up the center.
Postal Superintendent Uma Maheswar, Post Master Ravinder Reddy, Assistant Superintendent Akbar Ali Khan, postal staff and others were present.
