Bhadrachalam: In the connection with Lunar eclipse, the famous Bhadradri Sri Seetha Ramachandra Swamy temple was closed here on Monday from 12 pm.

The chief priest had closed the main door of the temple with the help of the temple staff. The temple door will be opened again from 3.30 am on Tuesday.

The devotees will be allowed to have Lord’s darshan at 6.30 am after performing Samprokshana (Purification ritual), informed chief priest P Jagannadha Charyalu.

Speaking with The Hans India, he said that Pavithrostavalu were completed on Monday and the nithya kalyanam programme will be conducted regularly from Tuesday onwards in the temple.
