Karimnagar: The Gangadhara police have nabbed the two-member inter-district burglary gang and recovered Rs 11 lakh from their possession along with seizing one car and one bike in Karimnagar on Monday.

According to the Commissioner of Police, V B Kamalasan Reddy, the accused were identified as Pawar Lakshman (31), son of Parshu Ramulu and resident of VSR Nagar of Katkoor village of Bachannapet mandal of Jangoan district; and Jadi Chiranjeevi (29), son of Vittal, resident of Rajeev Colony of Miryalaguda mandal of Nalgonda district.

The duo formed a gang and looted 23 houses in ten districts - Nizamabad, Jangaon, Nalgonda, Mahabubabad, Jagtial, Mancherial, Karimnagar, Warangal, Kamareddy and Khammam. The gang is the most wanted in seven districts.

Their modus operandi is that they will take a house on rent and loot the houses in nearby towns and villages. Once they complete their target, they will shift to other districts, the Commissioner explained.
