Officials told to prepare plans to develop Korutla, Metpally
District Collector Dr A Sharath directed the officials of various departments to prepare perfect action plans for the development of the Korutla and Metpally towns here on Tuesday.
Jagtial: District Collector Dr A Sharath directed the officials of various departments to prepare perfect action plans for the development of the Korutla and Metpally towns here on Tuesday.
Presiding over a review meeting with officials here on Tuesday, Dr. A Sharath said that they should prepare action plans taking into consideration the needs of the people living in Korutla and Metpally towns.
The Collector instructed the officials to make use of Rs.25 crore funds which were sanctioned by the State government for the development of Korutla and Metpally towns in a proper way. They should also take measures for the construction of Town halls.
He told them to take steps for the development of parks and setting up dumping yards. The construction works of slaughter houses should be speeded up, he added.
Dr Sharat told them to take steps to plant several saplings on either side of the Cement Concrete roads, in open places near the schools and in the premises of government offices as part of third phase of Haritha Haram programme.
He said that stringent action would be taken against the managements of schools which do provide spacious playgrounds for students,
The Metpally Sub-collector Mushraf Farooqi, Korutla Municipal Commissioner Vani Reddy and Metpally Municipal Commissioner and others were present on the occasion.
