Kagaznagar gets new Municipal Commissioner
The Commissioner and Director of Municipal Administration T K Sri Devi has issued orders appointing Malla Reddy as the new Municipal Commissioner of the town. Malla Reddy, who has already been given the charge as the Bellampalli Municipal Commissioner, will now take up the additional responsibilities of Kaghaznagar Municipality as well.
Asifabad: The Commissioner and Director of Municipal Administration T K Sri Devi has issued orders appointing Malla Reddy as the new Municipal Commissioner of the town. Malla Reddy, who has already been given the charge as the Bellampalli Municipal Commissioner, will now take up the additional responsibilities of Kaghaznagar Municipality as well.
It may be recalled that M Tirupathi, who was the Commissioner of the town earlier, failed miserably in the implementation of the Swachh Bharat Mission of the Centre andwas quite indifferent in taking up works relating to construction of toilets.
Moreover, M Tirupathi’s absence at the video conference called by T K Sri Devi irked her, which led to his transfer. Speaking to The Hans India here on Wednesday, Malla Reddy said that he felt proud to take charge as Kaghaznagar Municipal Commissioner and would definitely work towards the progress and development of the town.
