Textile Park will create 1.13 lakh jobs: Kadiyam
A mega Textiles Park coming up at Chintalapalli of Sangem mandal in Warangal rural district would provide direct and indirect jobs to 1.13 lakh people, said Deputy Chief Minister K Srihari.

Speaking to the media at Chintalapalli where he attended the Haritha Haram programme on Tuesday, the Deputy Chief Minister said it was expected that nearly Rs 11, 586 crore would be invested on the park that was being established at a cost of Rs 1150 crore. Nearly 1,190 acres of land has been acquired from farmers without any hassles because of the special efforts made by District Collector Prashanth J Patil.
The Deputy Chief Minister said that the textiles park would have ginning, spinning, weaving, dyeing and garment manufacturing units. After it comes up, the weavers who migrated to distant places such as Sholapur, Gujarat, Bhiwandi and others would be brought back.
Srihari said that Chief Minister K Chandrshekar Rao would be laying the foundation stone for the park in this month, The district administration has decided to plant 20,000 saplings at the park site and already 10,000 saplings were planted to expand the green cover at the park. Every person must take part in the plantation programme cutting across political lines, he added.
Later, the Deputy Chief Minister inaugurated additional classrooms at Government Junior College at Sangem mandal headquarters. He said steps were being taken to ensure that infrastructure facilities like libraries, laboratories, Ro plants and others were provided in 404 colleges in the State.
MLA Ch Dharma Reddy, Commissioner of Police G Sudheer Babu, RDO Ch Mahender, Conservator of Forests M J Akbar, DFO K Purushotham, ZPTC Guguloth Veeramma and others were present.
