Janmastami celebrations

Hyderabad: Celebrations of festivals and tradition keep the young minds rooted in their culture. Janmastami was celebrated by the Primary Wing of Sister Nivedita School with gaiety and enthusiasm.

Children dressed up in colourful robes and presented a skit depicting the birth of Lord Krishna which mesmerized the gathering. A beautiful dance from a devotional song performed by the students spell bound the hearts of the audience.

As Lord Krishna and his friends loved milk, curd, butter kept in pots, a beautifully decorated handi was hung on the stage. All the children were thrilled on seeing the handi. The children were made aware about the significance of the festival.
