Nalgonda: To educate people on the need to protect trees, the relocation of trees for the first time was carried out in the Nalgonda district on Friday. On the request of Nalgonda MLA Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, the Vata Foundation relocated the trees in the local Government Junior College for Boys.

The District Forest Officer Hashmi along with Vata trustee Vijaykrishna and members K Sumisha and M Ramya were present during the relocation.

NSS volunteers took keen interest in the work and learnt the art of relocation of trees. All the staff and students thanked Vata Foundation and Pratheek Foundation for their support and help in relocation of trees.

Lions Club district vice-governor Neti Raghupati, DIEO Hanumanth Rao, Principals Narendrakumar, Narsi Reddy, Ashok Reddy, NSS unit officers Sivakoti, Balaji, Naveen Kumar, lecturers Sudarani, Ismail, Yadagiri, Vemula Shekar, Chandrashekar Reddy cooperated with the Vata team during the relocation of trees.
