Administer MR vaccine to all children
The Joint Director of TB and MR Vaccine Campaign and Nodal Officer Dr Surya Prakash directed the officials of concerned department to take all necessary steps for administering Measles and Rubella vaccine to children between the age group of 9 to 15 years.

He chaired a meeting with the Core Committee members here at District Medical and Health Office on Monday. Speaking on the occasion, Dr Surya Prakash said that every division officer must possess perfect action plan for administering the vaccine to the children.
Take necessary steps by arranging the RBS vehicles for distributing the vaccine to various centers on time. ASHA workers and ANMs must keep MR Booklets ready with them. After administering the vaccines, a survey must be conducted with the help of the supervisors by visiting every household, he ordered.
The spread of Measles or Rubella disease could be prevented successfully in the district with the perfect implementation of the programme.
District Medical and Health Officer Dr Rajesham urged the parents to cooperate in making the programme successful by bringing their children of 9 to 15 years age to the nearest Anganwadi center or Government or private school where the campaign is being organised for administering the vaccine.
Additional DM&HO Dr G Sujatha, Dr Juveria, District Immunisation Officer Dr Pavan, RBSK Coordinator Amruth Raj, UNICEF Karimnagar district Observer A Pushpa, P Durga Rao and Dr Athul Nagame were present along with others.
