Charge sheets to be filed before Dec 28
Charge sheet in the high profile Hyderabad drugs racket will be filed by the middle of December, said Akun Sabharwal, the Director of Enforcement (Prohibition and Excise). The investigation into the case is going on satisfactorily. The dead line to file charge sheets in connection with the sensational drug racket allegedly involving several film personalities, is December 28, he said.

Speaking to presspersons in Hanamkonda on Wednesday, Sabharwal said every day two to three persons involved in the case were being questioned. 11 cases were registered and 22 persons were arrested so far. In the last week a meeting with legal experts, public prosecutors and lawyers dealing with narcotic cases has been conducted.
During the meeting, a timeline for each case and deadline for filing charge sheet has been fixed. The process of filing of charge sheets will begin at the end of September and will be complete by second week of December, Sabharwal added. He reviewed the status of gudumba eradication in erstwhile Warangal district on the day.
