SCCL targets to produce 660 lakh tonnes of coal this fiscal
Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) Managing Director N Sridhar has said that the company, which has set a target of producing 660 lakh tonnes of coal this fiscal year, has set an example for the public sector Coal India Limited to emulate.

Unfurling the tricolor at the SCCL headquarters on the occasion of 71st Independence Day celebrations on Tuesday, Sridhar described the country getting liberated from the foreign rule as the result of the sacrifices made by several prominent persons. He called upon one and all to follow the path shown by those noble persons.
The SCCL has been conducting Singareni Aanimutyalu to impart coaching to the youth and help them find placement in police and national defence services, the MD added, stating that the company has set the target to plant one crore saplings under Haritha Haram programme.
