Nalgonda: Saffron leaders of Nalgonda district has demanded the State government officially celebrate the Telangana Liberation Day on September 17.
On Wednesday, BJP leaders along with the party cadre conducted a rally in the town in this regard. Later, party’s district top brass leaders met the District Collector Gaurav Uppal at his camp office and submitted a memorandum of demands with regard to September 17th occasion.
Speaking to the media, BJP district president Nukala Narsimha Reddy said Telangana Liberation Day was a historical one and it was the duty of the government to honour the pride of majority people. BJP leaders Orugani Ramulu, Chandrashekar, N Narayana Reddy, Baki Papaiah, R Srinivas Reddy and others participated in the rally.
