Bhongir/Nalgonda: Firing salvos on Congress party state in-charge Khuntia, the Komatireddy brothers, Rajgopal Reddy and Venkat Reddy, said Khuntia had no right to make an announcement on the continuation of N Uttam Kumar Reddy as Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee chief till 2019 elections and described it a conspiracy.

They said All India Congress Committee president Sonia Gandhi and vice-president Rahul Gandhi would decide the state’s leadership and very soon they were going to meet the high command in this regard.

On Wednesday, MLC Rajgopal Reddy spoke to media in Bhongir, while his brother MLA Komatireddy Venkat Reddy interacted with press persons in Nalgonda.

Addressing the media, Rajgopal Reddy felt that government kept the Nayeem case in cold storage to save TRS party leaders, associate police officers and traders. He alleged that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao pocketed Rs 1,000 crore that was recovered after Nayeem’s encounter. He demanded the government to handover the Nayeem case to Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) to reveal the facts.

In Nalgonda, MLA Komatireddy Venkat Reddy after participating in local developmental activities spoke to media and expressed his dissatisfaction over the leadership of Uttam and comments of Khuntia. He informed that party was willing to bring more youngsters in to the party fold to come to power in 2019 elections.

Mocking KCR, he questioned the sincerity of government filling vacant government posts within a short span of one year. He further reiterated that new TPCC president would be appointed after party’s organisational elections in October this year.
