Parents told to cooperate with MR vaccine drive
District Collector D Krishna Bhaskar urged the parents to cooperate with the officials in administering Measles and Rubella vaccine for their children between the age group of 9 months to 15 years.

He inaugurated MR Vaccine campaign by lighting the lamp here at Government Primary School at Bheemaiah Nagar here on Thursday.
Speaking on the occasion, Collector D Krishna Bhaskar said only one vaccine will be administered for the two dreadful diseases - Measles and Rubella - for the children.
The campaign will continue till September 25 at various health centers including schools, anganwadi centers and outreach villages along with the areas where there is a chance of high risk.
Later the Collector inaugurated the Cold Chain Box by opening it, in which MR Vaccine were stored and later helped the children in taking the vaccine.
District Medical and Health Officer Dr Ramesh, Lions Club Governor Shiva Prasad, District Immunisation Officer Dr Aruna, Dr Chandra Shekar, Dr Anil, Dr. Anand Bhaskar and the school staff were present along with others.
