Peddapalli: To render better services to the people and to get updated with new emerging technology, the Central government introduced ‘Comprehensive Analysis Modified Modules for Induction Training’ (COMMIT) for the government officials and employees,said District in-charge Collector S Prabhakar Reddy here in Peddapalli town on Friday.

The Collector inaugurated ‘e-Learning’ training’ programme organised for the officials and government employees here at Trinity Engineering College in Peddapalli on Friday.

Speaking on the occasion, the Collector advised the officials to get awareness on the modernisation programme that was taking place in the present world along with updating themselves with the new technology to discharge their duties perfectly without any delay

He said that the Central government has introduced COMMIT as a pilot project in six States across the country. In the part of that the training will be given in e-Learning by the master trainer to the government officials and employees to render better services to the people, he added.

Prabhakar Reddy said that after receiving training, the officials must complete 15 e-modules through the Internet in 60 days. The complete details and the tasks about completing 15 e-modules were available on the Directorate of Personnel Training website, out of which 12 were Soft Skills and three are Domain Specific Skills, he added.

He said that after attending the 60-day e-Learning Training programme, the officials would know about setting of targets to complete the works on time, personal and professional ethics, time management, problem solving, decision making and leadership skills. After completing of the training successfully, the officials would be given certificates, he added.

All the government officials and employees must utilise this opportunity to get updated with the new technology to improve themselves in their profession and to render better services to the people, suggested the District in-charge Collector S Prabhakar Reddy.

The in-charge District Revenue Officer Ashok Kumar, Chief Planning Officer Ravinder, in-charge District and Rural Development Officer Prem Kumar and District Education Officer Venkateshwarlu were present along with others.
