Warangal Urban: The government employees should update their technical skills in order to understand and address the public issues, suggested Warangal rural district collector Prashath Jeevan Patil.

He addressed a gathering at the valedictory of three-day e-learning training programme conducted for the employees under the aegis of union department of personnel and training in Hanamkonda on Friday.

The collector said the training was given to ensure better services to the citizens. The training focused on organisational values, individual skills and values, effective service delivery, technical skills and other topics.

All the employees must follow the content of 15 training modules provided to them and answer the questions online to obtain the e-learning certificate. Every employee should try to get the certificate, the collector advised.

He further advised the employees to improve their functioning, face the work pressure and reach the goals by overcoming the hurdles. By adopting a positive attitude towards the work demands one could get good results. Joint Collector M Haritha stressed on the need for improving soft skills in the delivery of duties.
