Karimnagar: Students should become social scientists in future by concentrating more on studies right from the beginning for the speedy development of the nation, suggested Finance Minister Eatala Rajendar. He along with MP B Vinod Kumar felicitated the students, who secured 10/10 GPA in 2016-17 SSC examinations. They also felicitated Principals of the schools that secured 100 per cent results in SSC examination at the Collectorate auditorium here on Sunday.

Speaking on the occasion, Minister Rajendar said that the district stood in second position in SSC results that were declared last year across the State. This academic year, teachers along with students must work hard for securing top position in SSC results by concentrating on every subject right from the beginning, he advised. The government is giving much priority to education and medical sectors in the State by providing all the basic facilities.

For providing modern equipment in Primary Health Centers present across the district, the State government had sanctioned about Rs 10 crore in one day along with another Rs 4 to 5 crore for each constituency for the construction of compound walls, toilets, electricity provision and gates for governments schools, the Minister explained. The Telangana State government had in period of three years had established about 560 Gurukul Residential Schools across the State along with providing quality education on par with that of corporate educational institutions.

All the students, who are studying in government schools are from poor and middleclass families. Since these students know the problems and hard work of their parents, they should set perfect target and must focus on their studies to prepare for civil service examinations and must get 100 per cent results in the SSC examinations and must fulfill their parents dream by reaching greater heights, he suggested. Zilla Parishad Chairperson Tula Uma, Manakondur MLA Rasamai Balakishan, MLC Naradasu Lakhsman Rao, District Collector Sarafaraz Ahmed, Karimnagar MLA Gangula Kamalakar, City Mayor Ravinder Singh, Chairperson of Library Corporation Ravinder Reddy and MPP Vapala Ramesh were present along with others.
