Swachh Pakhwada: SCCL staff clean colonies, schools
As part of Swachh Pakhwada, several activities were being implemented in a spirited way in all 12 mining areas of the Singareni Collieries Company Limited.
Kothagudem: As part of Swachh Pakhwada, several activities were being implemented in a spirited way in all 12 mining areas of the Singareni Collieries Company Limited.
These include garbage removal from residential colonies, hospitals, drainages and schools in coal-mining areas, planting of saplings, rallies by students, conduct of competitions in drawing and essay writing on cleanliness.
General Managers of mining areas, officials, workers, school students, residents of the town, trade union leaders, sportspersons, elected people’s representatives, teachers, residents of various colonies and others participated in the celebrations with enthusiasm.
SCCL Chairman-cum-Managing director N Sridhar congratulated the Singareni staff for their enthusiasm and urged them to exhibit the same spirit hereafter to achieve clean India. Union Coal Minister Susheel Kumar through video conference reviewed the activities. Besides Sridhar, GM (co-ordination) B Kishan Rao took part in the video conference.
