Officials told to call tenders for 2BHK houses: Mahabubabad Collector

Mahabubabad: District Collector Dr Preethi Meena directed the officials of departments concerned to call for tenders immediately for the construction of double bedroom houses under the prestigious project of 2BHK housing scheme here on Thursday.

Presiding over a meeting with the officials of Roads and Buildings department along with the representatives of the Mega Company, she discussed the implementation of double bedroom housing scheme, materials required and on various issues here at the Collectorate.

Speaking at the meeting, the Collector directed the officials to speed up the process of calling for tenders for constructing nearly 200 double bedroom houses that were sanctioned under the first phase.

She told the officials to supply the materials like cement and iron on time along with sufficient quantities of sand without creating any hurdles, along with solving the issues that arise at the time of construction of houses for completing the works as early as possible.

The Collector instructed the representatives of the Mega Construction Company to start the construction works immediately seeking the cooperation from the officials.

Joint Collector Damodar Reddy, Superintending Engineer Satyanarayana, Executive Engineer Rajendar Nayak of Roads and Buildings Department and others were present on the occasion.
