Two friends committed suicide by jumping before a running train near Miryalaguda railway station on Sunday, reportedly due to heavy losses incurred in cricket betting.

The deceased were identified as Batchu Nagaraju (19) and Batchu Charan (19), residents of Babasaipet of Tripuram mandal of Nagarjuna Sagar constituency.
