Unique Ganesh idol at Jadcherla

Jadcherla: The youth of Natraj Colony here have installed a unique Ganesh idol, titled ‘Vancha Kalpalata Vidya Ganapati’ reminiscent of the deity worshipped in Vengapakhkham village of Tamil Nadu.
The colony youth have been installing idols in various forms for the past three decades. But this form of Lord Ganesh is unique. The youth switched over to installing Ganesh idols made of clay for the past five years.
Hundreds of devotees were thronging to have darshan of Vancha Kalpalata Vidya Ganapati. A 20-feet tall idol featuring the duel characteristics of Lord Ganesha as well as Goddess Lalitambica are fused into one in making the idol.
